When one casts one's mind towards thoughts of the Christmas Season, most often the pictures in our minds are vistas of pure white snow, jolly, plump snowmen, sleighs & sleds and the joyful ringing of bells. 

In SA our reality is vastly different, we have another type of experience – that of heat, sun, outdoors, suntan lotion, costumes and the ringing squeals of children in the swimming pool!

Food Matters was very excited and honoured to be commissioned to cater for the TWBA Hunt Lascaris cocktail party, and we so loved the combined theme of Out of Africa and White Mischief. We were delighted to have the opportunity to cater for an African theme as it allowed us to showcase local ingredients which are always special and of huge importance to us - sustainability wise and pride wise!
